Healing the breaks

“Whatever the logic of the situation, there remains an existential uncertainty…the experimental method expects us to fail some percentage of the time; and however much we learn from failure, its experience is usually disheartening and unsettling…”

Anderson, Douglas R.. Philosophy Americana: Making Philosophy at Home in American Culture (American Philosophy Book 18) (p. 32). Fordham University Press. Kindle Edition.

My life has slowly evolved over the years, sometime for the worse, other times for the better. The most beneficial changes came when I started to focus on the everyday, moment to moment, experiences and events of my life. Ultimately life is an “experiment” in living and it is reasonable to expect that sometimes we will experience failure, however we will also learn from our failures and as discouraging as they may feel, we can come out better and stronger for having gone through the experience of failing and rebuilding our life afterward. A broken bone will heal back stronger than ever at the point of the break.  When life is broken, it can be repaired and we can be stronger for having gone through that experience and benefiting from wisdom and knowledge about better ways to live which we have gained as a result.
